Copy Text from Screen

• New in the capture menu: select any area of the screen and the text in it lands on your clipboard — error dialogs, images, paused videos, anything you can't select normally. Recognition runs entirely on your device; nothing is uploaded.

Hotkey fixes

• Hotkeys taken by another app now recover automatically: VidSeen retries every minute and tells you the moment they start working.
• A persistent menu notice shows while any hotkey is unavailable, instead of a single easy-to-miss notification.
• The hotkey editor shows keys as it receives them, warns when a combination collides with Windows' keyboard-language switch or uses the Windows key, and accepts the PrintScreen key on its own again.
• A capture flow that gets stuck no longer silences every later hotkey press.

• One notification per capture on the Mac too — the extra "link on its way" toast is gone.

All-new Windows interface

• The tray menu is now a Windows 11–style panel — rounded, translucent, and theme-aware — with everyday actions up front and a dedicated Settings page.
• The control panel, viewer picker, hotkey editor, naming prompts, and annotation editor are all redesigned to match VidSeen on the Mac, including full dark-mode support.
• The annotation editor gains live shape preview, multi-line text (Enter makes a new line), movable text, and bolder arrows.
• Sharing success now shows a brief three-second toast with the link and a thumbnail — one toast per capture — instead of a lingering system notification.

AI names for your captures

• Skip the name prompt (or turn it off) and VidSeen names the share for you: videos are titled from what was said, screenshots from what's on screen — usually within a few minutes of upload. Names you type yourself are never touched.

• हिन्दी (Hindi) joins as the tenth language, across the apps, the website, and share pages.
