Recording
One hotkey. A 3-2-1 countdown, then VidSeen records a region or the whole screen — with system audio and your microphone. (The browser recorder can also pick a window or a tab.)
Pause and resume. Take a breath, pull up the next screen, keep going. The floating bar shows elapsed time and a pause button while you record.
Screenshots with markup. Capture a still, then draw arrows, boxes, ovals, and text before it is saved.
Copy text from the screen. Select any area and the text lands on your clipboard. Recognition runs on your Mac or PC; nothing is uploaded.
Camera bubble. Put yourself in a corner of the recording when a face helps the explanation.
Sharing
A link in seconds. Uploads start the moment you stop. The link is on your clipboard before the window closes.
Share pages that explain themselves. Each recording gets a transcript and an AI-written summary, so a viewer can skim before they press play.
Recents at hand. Your last captures live in the menu with first-frame previews — copy a link again or open the share page.
Viewer tracking
Opened and finished. VidSeen records when each viewer first opens a video and whether they watched to the end — not just that a link was clicked. Outlook Safe Links cannot fake a view: assigned people sign in with their own account.
Assign to people or groups. Send a video to a distribution group and see who is done. Reminders go out on business days to anyone who is not.
Questions, not just a timer. Optional comprehension questions so “watched” means they understood, not that they left the tab open.
Customer views. Share with people outside your company by link, with the same open tracking and no sign-in required.
Ask them to record. Send a request link. They record in the browser — no account, no install — and you get the video back.
