VidSeen is a small screen recorder in the Mac menu bar or Windows tray. Press a hotkey, record, and a share link is on your clipboard.
Install
Download from
vidseen.com/download. Mac: Apple silicon, macOS 15+. Windows 10+ (x64 and ARM64). Both apps update themselves.
Sign in
Open VidSeen →
Sign in. Use your work email. If your company uses SSO, you go straight to their sign-in page.
Record
Record Full Screen or
Record Selected Area…, or the shortcuts next to each action. Stop from the floating bar. Upload starts immediately; paste the link into email, Teams, or a ticket.
Hotkeys
Mac defaults: ⌥⇧7 full screen, ⌥⇧6 area, ⌥⇧5 screenshot. Windows: Alt+Shift+7 / 6 / 5. Change them under
Hotkeys.
Recents
Last captures sit in the control panel. Local files: Movies/VidSeen (Mac) or Videos\VidSeen (Windows).
